Arica McKinnon is the Vice President of Solutions Consulting at Nielsen, a global leader in audience insights, data, and analytics.
She is a high-energy, results-driven media research and sales professional with over 15 years of vast experience in Media Sales, Product Leadership, Market Research, and Multicultural Consumer Insights.
In her current role, Arica is responsible for managing Nielsen's portfolio of Brand Effect solutions and helping advertisers and brands understand the effectiveness of their advertising.
Arica has held various positions within Nielsen U.S. Media, most recently, as VP of Audience Measurement. She was responsible for generating new business and developing podcasting solutions allowing for better planning, activation, and optimization. She also spent years as an Account Manager for Nielsen Audio (formerly Arbitron), where she serviced and sold syndicated audio measurement solutions to local radio stations.
Arica is a champion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Multicultural Initiatives. She is an active member of WIN and SABLE, Nielsen's internal BRG (Business Resource Groups), and is a 2018 graduate of the Nielsen's Diverse Leadership Network program.
Arica earned a B.S. in Communications with a minor in Media Management from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, TN. She also completed an Executive Education Business Program at Emory's Goizueta Business School in Atlanta, GA. Arica resides in Northern Virginia and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and an active volunteer with the March of Dimes.
